The Performance Development Service provides support to medium sized organisations that employ staff and provide services in the health, welfare and social care sector or work with socially excluded people. It offers skilled support to enable organisations to improve their management and governance systems thereby enabling them to deliver services more effectively.

B & H Community Initiatives can also offer a governance home to projects that do not want to set up their own boards
We would like to support all the organisations in Brighton that request it. However, we are only a small team and have to prioritise. As a guide our criteria are:
- Organisations should be in receipt of at least £15,000 per annum
- Organisations should employ at least one member of staff or be setting up employment
- Organisations should be a constituted Community / voluntary sector organisation or a Social Enterprise
